Transfer from Marrakech to the Atlas Mountains

Day 5

Berber Confidences

Full day excursion to the Atlas Mountains including soft hiking experience, tea break with Berber family. Lunch with dweller or Country picnic private lunch according to your choice.

The mountain barrier that stretches south of Marrakesh is dissected by deep valleys. The villages are perched on the slopes and their rammed earth houses and facades blend into the red landscape.You will go towards the little and very authentic village of Imlil to discover its waterfalls surrounded with mules and craftsmen. An hour walk will bring you to the village of Aremd where you will discover the local and traditional customs. There, one of the Berber family will open their door to share a part of their culture with you. Enjoy the experience of Moroccan tea-making and friendly moments with them.You will then set out to enjoy a delicious traditional Moroccan lunch on the foothills of the Toubkal, the most majestic mountain all over North Africa. A very impressive sight will be waiting for you after this refreshing escapade, on your way back to your Kasbah.

Day 6 - Morning

My Organic Garden

Traditional cooking class in the Organic garden of a famous Moroccan Chef.

Put the chef’s hat on, roll up your sleeves, today you are the chef!You leave your hotel to the nearby Ourika valley where all your senses will be stimulated. In the chef’s organic garden, several workshops follow one another. Tea, spices, Moroccan cuisine, traditional bread. You passed the tests with flying colours.Moroccan tajine, 7 vegetable couscous,… did you know that the plates reflects also part of the traditions ruling Moroccan Society during every day’s life or special events? Tasting the prepared-meals will conclude this festival of flavors. The whole country is yours today to delight your taste buds.

Day 6 - Afternoon

Golden Palette - Private transfer to Agafay desert

One hour from Marrakech stands the village of Agafay. Along the road, the small Berber villages, hanging from the rock, blend into the landscape blessed with breathtaking natural beauty.Lying down on the colorful rugs and cushions, you just relax while a slight breeze caresses your face. It’s time to enjoy the dinner around a campfire. The shadow of clouds starts a funny dance. Close your eyes, let go, and abandon yourself to laziness, to soothing feelings.

Day 7

Departure

Return transfer to the airport of Marrakech or to your resort in Marrakech for an extension stay.
